Across campus, faculty and staff have relied on searching over different calendars in different locations within the university website. This process has been time consuming, confusing, and often difficult. The University of Utah has needed a system that would unify the university's many calendars, enabling users across campus to collectively understand, share, and coordinate their schedules. With this system, we would be able to bridge the gaps of communication and ease the burden of the current system.
The Unified Calendar (UCal) is our solution. For the first time, all necessary dates and events are conveniently located in and accessible from one location. This calendar is to be a tool for faculty and staff to see all the deadlines and information they need to know in one consolidated place.

UPDATE : We have now opened access and added color to the Unified Calendar. You will no longer be required to log in to view the calendar (Log in will still be required if you are a calendar contributor or would like to export the calendar to Outlook).
